REGISTRATION FOR PRESENTING PAPERS: ONLY MEMBERS OF THE IAMM TAPC CHAPTER ARE ELIGIBLE TO PRESENT PAPERS
a. The existing members have to quote their membership number in the registration
form or in the covering letter when submitting the registration form.
b. The membership numbers of the existing members may be checked in the website (Directory).
c. For those who want to register: Membership form hard copy and online google form of the IAMM TAPC Chapter are available on the website of IAMM TAPC Chapter.

10. GANDHI MEDICAL COLLEGE PRIZE FOR FREE PAPERS: Sponsored by Department of Microbiology, Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad. Three prizes will be awarded. First prize, second prize and consolation prize (Rs. 1000/-). The money for the prizes will be generated from the interest accumulated from Rs. 1,00,000/- donated by Dept. of Microbiology, Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, during
the headship of Dr. K. Nagamani, ex-officio president of IAMM TAPC Chapter.
11. Smt. P.C. CHITTIMANI Memorial prize for Best Outgoing PG in Telangana - (for topper in MD Microbiology) secured highest marks in KNR UHS Examinations (Medal sponsored by Dr. Appa Rao).
12. Sri. Ms. N. VENKATA SIVA PRAMATA Memorial Best Prize Papers for “Health Care
Associated Infections”: Sponsored by Dr. N. Premanadam, Professr, Narayana Medical College, Nellore. Two prizes will be awarded (First & Second). The money for the prizes will be generated from the interest accumulated from Rs. 1,00,000/-
donated by Dr. N. Premanadam sir during the XXV Silver Jubilee IAMM TAPC Chapter Annual State Conference in 2022 held at GIMSR, Visakhapatnam.
a. Full text of the papers are to be submitted.
b. Post graduates irrespective of any age and Junior Faculty below the age of 35yrs (enclose DOB Certificate) are eligible to participate in this award presentation.
c. The contestant presenting the paper will be the principal author of the paper.
d. The Presenting author should be a member of the IAMM National Body and State Chapter.
e. The same paper should not have been published in a standard journal or not have received an award in any other meeting or conference. A signed declaration to this effect should be submitted along with the paper
f. Five copies of the full text article for the proposed paper along with other aforementioned documents should be submitted to the office of the Organising Secretary, before the stipulated time.
g. A screening committee will scrutinize the papers and the best five papers will be selected for presentation at the conference
Certain technical guidelines for submission of papers for this award presentation:
1. Covering letter and declaration (see template on the website)
2. First page: Abstract (see the template on the website)
3. Second page onwards: main article; Main article should not bear the identification of the author(s). They should not mention the institute or place of work or name of the guide anywhere in the text of main article (e.g. in the Material and Methods or results or discussion). The article file should only contain: the title followed by the full text of the paper. Guidelines for preparation of the article are same as that of the ‘original article’ for IJMM.
4. Submitted as a hard copy (print out) in five sets AND soft copy though email or CD in a document (*.doc or *.docx format) ONLY)

The Prizes are sponsored by Dr. K.R.L.Surya Kirani, Professor of Microbiology, Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada. The objective of these prizes is to encourage research orientation among young microbiologists in the state.

B. The candidate should be an MD in Microbiology and should be a member of IAMM (National body and the TAPC Chapter).
C. The paper presented should be a prospective study with an aim. Retrospective analysis and case reports will not be considered for these prizes.
D. The methodology employed in the study should be innovative / in house/latest and conform to the recent trends in the respective fields of work.
E. The results and conclusion arrived from the work should be applicable towards the betterment of Clinical Microbiology practice.
F. The judges for this prize will be appointed jointly by the Organizing Secretary of the Annual Conference of the State Chapter and General Secretary of the IAMM TAPC Chapter, after evaluation of the abstracts by the sponsor.
The award sponsored by the Department of Microbiology, Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada for the papers presented by the senior faculty members (with more than 10 years of teaching experience) at the annual conference.

B. The contestant should be a member of the IAMM TAPC Chapter.
C. The contestant may be a Faculty in the Department of Microbiology with more than 10 years of teaching experience, Consultants with more than 10 years of experience. (it should be clearly stated in the covering letter)
D. The Money spent for the award each year will be derived from the interest accumulated on the amount of Rs 20,000-00, donated by the Department of Microbiology to the IAMM-TAPC Chapter.
The Prizes are sponsored by Dr. N. Premanadam, Professor of Microbiology, Narayana Medical College, Nellore. The objective of these prizes is to encourage on Hospital Infection Control practices in the institutes and hospitals among clinical microbiologists in the both the states.

B. The candidate should be an MD/DNB in Microbiology and should be a member of IAMM TAPC Chapter).
C. The judges for this prize will be appointed jointly by the Organizing Secretary of the Annual Conference of the State Chapter and General Secretary of the IAMM TAPC Chapter, after evaluation of the abstracts by the sponsor
Covering letter and declaration (as per the template) is MUST for all.
The papers not qualified for the Prize Paper Presentations will be included to be presented in the Free Papers Session.
Case reports/Retrospective studies are not eligible for any of the prize category presentations)

General guidelines for Posters: The participants of the poster presentation are requested to make the posters in the size of 4ft x 3ft ONLY. They are also requested to bring the drawing pins necessary for mounting the posters. The font size should be adjusted in such a way that the poster shall be
comfortable to read from a distance of about 3ft.
TIME ALLOTED FOR PRESENTATIONS:
Total time allotted for "Free Paper session" is: 6 (six minutes- 5min + 1min discussion) only For Dr. C.S.Bhaskaran Sir's award and other prize category Presentations : 10 minutes (8+2 min)
PG Pedagogy: 10 min only.
